Running from Solace Nakia R. Laushaul

Solace: Comfort in sorrow, misfortune, or trouble; alleviation of distress or comfort, Something that gives comfort or consolation, amuse, allay, to make cheerful.

Hello IYBC,

Solace that word alone breathes life into the novel Running from Solace. I have completed reading this novel I started at 9:00 last night and finished 3:00am. I was totally captivated.  I saw glimpses of my own childhood, memories and images that saturated my spirit, It has been long time since I thought of my mother  as I bore witness to her pain.

Nakia Laushaul has meticulously penetrated the spirit of  emotional, and physical abuse. Her book takes you on a journey of truth, that is ugly. She has unlocked the “DNA” of the generational curse that keeps on giving. She invites you into the mind of ” I Hate You Don’t Leave Me.”

The novel Running from Solace, intimidates your fears,  but validates your conscious.
