“Infidel” Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Hello IYBC,

“Diverse dialogue With Passion” was an understatement as we discussed “Infidel” by Ayaan Hirsi Ali in 21 June 2012. I would like to thank all of you that attended our June book club meeting.

The conversation was enlightening and educational . We dissected all points of views, and I am sure we all searched our conscious and have formulated a personal opinion that we applied to ourselves.

IYBC we thank  Thomas Patterson for choosing such a powerful prolific “read” and for being the facilitator for the evening.

IYBC as always I am truly humbled for your commitment and support, we have proven once again that “diversity is healthy”

I leave you with these words from Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

“Cowardice asks the question is it safe? Expediency ask the question the question is it politic? Vanity ask the question is it popular? But conscience as the question is it right? There comes a time we must take a position that is neither safe, politic, or popular but it was right.”
